Privacy
What this site records when you use it, why we keep it, and how to ask us for a copy or to delete it.
When you browse
The first time you open a page, the site saves a small cookie named pinak_vid on your device. It holds a random ID, it is set by this site only, and it lasts for one year. Against that ID we record:
- the pages you view, including the category you filter by and anything you type into the catalogue search
- when you use a call, email or WhatsApp button, or add a product to your quote list
- whether you are on a phone, a tablet or a desktop computer
- the name of the site that sent you here (the domain only, not the full address)
We use this to see which products people look for and where the site lets them down. We do not store your IP address or the details your browser sends about itself, and we do not build a browser fingerprint.
If your browser has Do Not Track switched on, none of this is recorded and the cookie is not set.
When you send an enquiry or a quote request
We store what you put in the form: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, your message and, for a quote request, the products, quantities and notes on your list. We keep it so that we can reply and prepare the quote.
If the visitor cookie is present, the enquiry is linked to that ID, so we can see which pages led to it. A notice of the enquiry may also be emailed to our own inbox so that we see it promptly.
To limit spam, the forms count recent submissions from each network address for ten minutes. That count is held in memory only and the address is never saved.
Your quote list
The products you add to a quote list are kept in your own browser's storage, on your device. They reach us only when you send the request. The list stays there until you send it or clear it.
Services run by other companies
- The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp with a message ready to send. Nothing goes to WhatsApp until you choose to use it.
- The map on the contact page is an embedded Google Map, and the directions link opens Google Maps.
What those services collect is covered by the privacy policies of WhatsApp and Google, not by this page.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it or share it for advertising.

To remove the browsing record as well, send us the value of the pinak_vid cookie from your browser settings. Clearing this site's cookies and storage in your browser removes the ID and the quote list from your device.
